Community Involvement

"Whether it is giving back to the community or supporting our employees in their own charitable endeavors ESI understands the importance of investing in our community and in the lives of others."

Through ESI’s support of the John William Jackson Fund’s Idaho Youth Education Recycling Partnership, ESI has helped the JWJF organization become recognized by the City of Boise as one of 2009’s EnviroGuard Award winners.

August 1, 2007 marked the beginning of the first of many donations of aluminum products to the Idaho Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). With more than 50 office employees, the ESI Corporate Office wanted to begin recycling its aluminum cans and discovered the Idaho RMHC recycling program. This allows ESI to contribute to a very worthwhile charity while recycling its aluminum products.

"On behalf of the students, parents and staff at Adams Elementary, I wish to thank you for your donation of both concrete and labor in the creation of Adams' Outdoor Classroom. Without your generosity, the classroom could not have been completed in such a short time and those at the school would still have hours of fundraising in front of them. But most of all, quality and excellence shown in laying the concrete enhances the overall beauty of the garden area. Your cooperation and quality work shows what can be done when companies work together for the good of the community. We really appreciate the fine work and generosity that you showed in donating to our Outdoor Classroom."
