 Just as it is a Contractor's people who make a project a success, it is in large part the subcontractors who actually build the project. ESI has an excellent reputation and relationship with subcontractors and suppliers both locally and nationally. Many of our subcontractors and suppliers perform work on repeat projects for us. Our buying power, long history and strong working relationships with these companies give us an edge in pricing and constructing each project. To ensure that we obtain the best subcontractor bids, our project managers and superintendents breakout the entire project design into a series of key phases that relate directly to each subcontractor's scope of work. ESI invites a significant number of known, qualified subcontractors to submit bids for each project using our extensive database of bidders. We review bids to ensure that each bidder has the proper scope of work quoted, and the resources and experience to successfully complete their work.
Today, more often than not, plans and specs are transmitted electronically. That is why we have partnered with iSqFt and Plan Express to facilitate most of our bid documents electronically; decreasing bid costs and increasing the ability to connect with a wide range of potential bidders.
